So when I downloaded Recognita Reader off of vetusware.com, the software came in two zip files. The first contains disks 1 through 4 and the second contains disks 5 through 7. So how do I install the program? Is it better to put each "disk" onto an actual floppy or can I put all the files into a single directory on a cd and install them that way? If so, how do I do this? What do I need to do when they ask me to install the next disk if it's all on the same cd?

What kind of files are they?

Okay, these are really strange. As you'll see, some of them are normal, like .exe, .dat and .dll. But most have an underline where the third letter of the file extention should be. I'm not sure if it's necessary to do that so that the program can read the files internally or if these are compressed files, like when I first downloaded Quickbasic 4.5 and it had $ as the end of every file extention. If that's true, then I don't know what some of these are supposed to be. Can anyone help?

.in_, .dll, .exe, dl_, .rs_, .eng and similar .en_ etc and other langues too), .lic, .re_, .ls_, ex_, .lst, .da_, .2_x, .2_6, .sz_, 3_6, .4_6, .hl_, .bc_, .dr_, .ti_, .se_, .5_6, .ms_, .er_, .se_, .fa_, .1_1, .st_, .me, .dat

Hmm, perhaps, I can write a batch file to load the next disk during the installation off the cd once the previous one has been used? Totally going out on a limb here so I don't even know what I'm talking about. lol
